Working with a company that has a well-defined brand brings some ease in decision making. At the same time, a designer must be inventive to push the established brand into new and creative territory, while staying within the established guidelines.
I chose to redesign the Choate Rosemary Hall Alumni Association website and newsletter because, as an offshoot of a larger, established brand, these pieces of collateral felt as if they had been created as an afterthought.
After exploring the school’s website to understand the current look and feel – contemporary yet traditional – I set out to create wireframes and mock-ups of the Alumni Association website and newsletter.
